ZERO—G

A deep dive into the "ZERO—G" project. With this personal project, I want to achieve a feeling of weightlessness inside a retro-futuristic space interior.

— PROJECT DESCRIPTION

With this personal project, I want to achieve a feeling of weightlessness inside a retro-futuristic space interior.

The overall asset is simple and art-directable. The input hemisphere dictates the proportions of the fictional space interior.

— PUMP IT

Cloth parts are checked for intersections, automatically unwrapped, and simulated with Vellum.

— STAR FIELD

Gaia Archive at ESA was used to create a star field. The position of the stars has been 'normalized' — the stars are equidistant from the center of the coordinates.

— COMPOSITING OPERATORS

Procedural textures made in Houdini’s compositing context — COPs.

— A CLOSER LOOK

Attention to detail in the case of animating props was necessary to bring realism into the lifeless rendering.

— FINAL TOUCHES

Nowadays, The Foundry Nuke is my absolute choice to creatively mimic lens effects, and bring realism into each shot.
